How many graduates are you recruiting this year?
We'll recruit around 30 graduates over the next twelve months, all to be located in Rhyl, North Wales.
What do you look for in a graduate?
We look for graduates who have a minimum 2:2 Honours Degree. We are also looking for local graduates, who have a commitment to the local area and are within commuting distance of our office.
Will Buckles apply for a work permit for me?
You need to be eligible to work in the UK to apply for our graduate programme. You will need to ensure your eligibility to commit to Buckles for three years.
When can I start?
There are several start dates for our graduate programme. Please see the ‘events’ section for further information.
Does it matter if I don't have a finance background?
We take applicants with degrees in any subject. We'll train you in the skills you need.
Can I defer my offer?
We'll consider deferring offers on a case-by-case basis. There are also various start dates available for our graduate programme.
Will I receive feedback on my application?
Due to the number of applications we receive, we are unable to provide feedback to all candidates.
I am disabled. Can you accommodate my needs during the selection process?

Do you only accept applications from 21-year-olds?
Age is not important to us. All applicants are judged on their demonstrated abilities.
What level of support will Buckles give me with my study and training?
Lots! We cover the cost of all training, the syllabus for each exam, and entry fees. Furthermore, your colleagues, managers and other graduates will provide support on a day-to-day basis which can be very helpful on the more difficult topics.
How do I study for my examinations?
Whichever way is best for you. We have a skills trainer who is available to help you find the right approach.
What is the firm's policy if I fail the professional examinations first time?
We want you to pass. We give the best possible chance to pass at the first attempt but recognise that you can have a bad day. Should you fail, we will discuss with you the examination in question together with your work performance and consider your options.
