Continued Expansion for Buckles

Rhyl-based Buckles Investment Services Limited is continuing to expand and strengthen its position as the North West’s largest Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) with the acquisition of some 300 high net worth clients from IFA business, Foulkes, Bird and Associates.
Partner Clive Foulkes will continue to practise independently from his office in Colwyn Bay.
Buckles’ Chief Executive Nigel Speirs said:
“The acquisition of the client bank of Rex’s business will strengthen our position in the IFA market and also offer clients access to our expertise.
Buckles was established in 1973, Buckles now provides independent financial advice to over 20,000 clients through a national network of advisers. It currently has over £300 million pounds under management.
In October 2004, Buckles launched the Snowdonia Fund, which has £67 million under management in four sub funds. Buckles also operates a successful graduate recruitment scheme. 21 graduates have joined the scheme and nine have already attained the highest industry qualifications, since it started in 2001.
