SimplyBiz to Promote the Snowdonia Fund

SimplyBiz plc, the national IFA compliance service company, is to distribute The Snowdonia Fund through its 4000 IFAs.

The Snowdonia Fund, which was launched by Rhyl-based IFA Buckles Investment Services Ltd in October 2004, now has over £150m under management.

Commenting on this news, Nigel Speirs, Chief Executive of Buckles Investment Services, said that he puts this down to the business benefits and a fairer deal for clients:

“It speaks volumes about the direction the industry is heading when a compliance service company of SimplyBiz’s size and standing decides to promote the Snowdonia model as a way of running client money. Snowdonia allows an IFA to professionalise its investment process and realise the true value of its business. For example, Buckles’ renewal income has increased by six times thanks to Snowdonia. We don’t see how the old model of IFAs trying to run client portfolios can compete with expert full time management. We are incentivised to demand performance from our managers, rather than to churn funds every five years for initial commission.”
